From knowledge platforms, universities and reputed institutions striving to create a startup culture, this time it was the turn of Indian Bank, Chennai that had organized this fabulous outreach program for #startups to fuel their growth.
Welcome address was given by Mr Narendra Kumar Sharma – GM MSME, Indian Bank, followed by an opening address by Mr S L Jain – MD & CEO of Indian Bank. This startup outreach program had other eminent personalities, speakers on the stage – Dr. (Smt.) B Maheswari IAS, Special Secretary to Govt. of Tamil Nadu, MSME Department, Mr Sivarajah Ramanathan – Mission Director & CEO, Tamil Nadu Start-up and Innovation mission, Mr Shyam Sekar S – Founder & Chief Mentor at Startup Xperts Business Consulting, Mr Ramaswamy Sankar – CEO, Chennai Angels, and Mr Rajeswara Reddy, Field GM Indian Bank.
Our founder and Startup Expert Mr Shyam Sekar highlighted the importance of Startups and MSMEs contribution to nation development, economy and job creation. He also provided some tips and insights as to what startups and MSMEs need to focus on to build their growth and scale their businesses that includes, product/service innovation, innovative models, positioning, branding and using digital media expand their business.
